(3:08 P.M. – 3:28 P.M. US Central Time) Every time I begin to forget why I love people so much someone comes along to remind me. Yea!!! Prestina called me last night at 11:30 p.m. which is entirely too late for those I don’t like. (But it isn’t who those I do HINT HINT) She…
(7:56 P.M. – 8:17 P.M. US Central Time/Tuesday/ Downtown Library) [imood mood at time of entry: groovy] Sometimes I really have to wonder where I come up with these titles. Hmmm. . . Anyway, drama ruled last night (Monday, December 15, 2003) too. I didn’t make out with Cris because I was at Prestina’s house…
(12:25 A.M. – 1:01 A.M. US Central Time/Sunday/Home) [imood mood at time of entry: good] I sometimes lie in bed and believe that there can be no relief from the ache of knowing that I too will one day die. I try my best to stifle my tears and any noises that are determined to…
(8:07 P.M. – 8:22 P.M. US Central Time) I just got back from riding down to Westhweimer, the notorious party/gay/freaky/weirdo scene/street. I went with Alex and her boyfriend Chris. Alex is one of the people I have been meaning to write about here. I met her on my trip to San Marcos. I won tickets…
(5:11 P.M. – 5:30 P.M. US Central Time) [imood mood at time of entry: pissed] So the problem with the Netscape connection was a minor one. I was more than slightly pissed when I called their helpline. I also had to call back a second time to figure out why my screen name was not…
(1:22 P.M. – 1:34 P.M. US Central Time/Wednesday/library near my aunt’s house) [imood mood at time of entry: upset] Dammit! I just got word of my account being shut down on FanFiction.Net. It took me a long time to go back there after what happened last year. Last year, I was still relatively new to…
Not everyone wants to be a manager. I managed a kennel throughout highschool. It wasn’t exactly my thing. I’m managing volunteers right now. Still nto my thing. I just want to do my thing.
However, I’m going to assume that you all have higher turn over there for the employees that aren’t managers. I’m also going to assume that a lot of the people there aren’t of the highest education there for can only do certain jobs. You know?
What happens is in these companies they try to curb their turnover and retain the good employees. The ones that don’t cause the trouble. The ones that are nice to the customers and that have the brains to actually do the job. You know? You have all that going for you.
So they assume, wrongly apparantly, that your motivation to stay includes moving upwards in the company. First of all if they were moving me upward I want my pay to move upward with that. I’m not doing more work for the same pay. But that’s just me.
Anyhow, they can’t seem to comprehend why you wouldn’t want to move upwards and maybe it needs more explanation from you as to your reasonings there.
