I have been neglecting this journal so much lately. I have been writing short fan fic stories, and posting those in my LiveJournal. I was excited to find a review for my story Obsession‘s first chapter, Breathe. I don’t what promoted my friend Becca to go by my journal, but I’m glad that she did.
I’m not exactly sure where the short story is coming from, but I’m just writing it down. Hopefully, to more great reviews. I am such a review/comments whore.
I also submitted my vignette, Shadow to my do_me_profsnape (*lol*) group on LiveJournal to good reviews too. It’s kind of fun and worthwhile when I actually decide to submit my work to be looked at by my peers, and they give some type of advice/comments back.
The search for work has been OK, but it could definitely be better. I was supposed to go and fill out an application at the Herman Hospital Gift Shop, but I had the wrong disk with me. I couldn’t print out my resume, so that meant no hospital trip for me. I gave up on that for today, and typed up the second chapter of Obsession, and uploaded my different stories on a couple of sites.
I applied at a Chevron within walking distance of my house, despite the risk of being shot, but they haven’t called me back yet. Fluff them then.
I also created a new quiz, which I’ve listed in my Menu. It’s gotten 5s on the voting scale and people actually picked my quiz as one of their faves. Cool.
Anyway, I have a bit of reading to do, and I might do some more typing. I am living in Writer’s Paradise right now.
