So Much For Progress!

[imood mood at time of entry: upset]

Dammit! I just got word of my account being shut down on FanFiction.Net. It took me a long time to go back there after what happened last year. Last year, I was still relatively new to fan fiction, and didn’t understand the rating system. I only knew that I was a fan of Alan Cumming and wanted to rewrite the porn story my friend sent me including him and Ewan McGregor. I wrote in myself and my friend, Eme as the revision.

Someone coward kept reporting me and posting rude comments about how I should take my story elsewhere. It was not that it wasn’t a good story. My betas told me they “enjoyed” it, but that it was NC-17 in nature. I didn’t know what that meant then.

So now that I’ve come back, I’ve made certain to watch the ratings of my stories and follow the guidelines of the site. I have read worse than my own stoires at FF.Net, but I am the one getting the boot. I don’t fucking understand.

R rated stories are allowed. I generally don’t go over that rating limit in my fan fiction stories, anymore. Even the Draco/Lucious story was reduced to an R rating instead of the NC-17 I had planned for it, even though I wrote that part out by hand.

I just wish that I would stop getting screwed over. I was just getting into all the attention of my newest fandom, and then FF has to go crush me like this.

I sent in a report, but I am sure that it won’t get a response. None of my other messages got responses before.

I did attempt to resign up with the same name, but the site said that my name was still taken, even though no one can access my stories, and I can’t sign in anywhere. I am thinking of resigning up with a similar name and reposting my stories. They won’t be able to stop me via IP because I use a different computer every day, and there are dozens of libraries here.

Just let them try and stop me. *insert evil laughter here* *laughs, normally*

I want to see what happens with the response first though before I go all psycho rebel on them.

But! The good part about all of this is that I learned that my stories are being passed along by word of mouth. Kaching! *lol* Note to self: Think brighter side. . .

  1. I went to that website and I know I read worse stories than you write there. Like graphic wise. Not saying you write bad stories. Don’t you use adult fanfic too for stories or did I just imagine that (sometimes I just imagine things)?
