Singled Out

(2:43 P.M. – 2:57 P.M. US Central Time/Saturday/Downtown library)

[imood mood at time of entry: lackadaisical]

I have to go to work in a couple of hours and I am sort of feeling low-key right now. Partially because I did a lot of running around this morning to different stores and to the bank to cash my check, and partially because of the whole monthly thing. I haven’t bothered to read my email yet, as I know there will be something upsetting waiting there for me. The DDCritic called himself trying to get to me by lowering my rating. Though I know I didn’t have to, I thanked him for coming by my journal to review it. I’m not all that interested in fighting with him the way he seemed to be with me. I guess he’s over his whole power trip thing by now. I’m not particularly upset, but I felt his immaturity warranted a mention here.

His whole little fan club was basically repeating the same things he said. I accepted the review with no real fuss in his diary. Everything I wrote wasn’t even all that rant-y. It ridiculous that he believes that everyone who disagrees with his reviews are immature. It’s stupid really. But whatever.

I did read everyone’s comments, and thank you. Thanks for all the support. I was really upset that day, and he singled me out. He even came to my journal to attack me further. He never went over board the way he did with me with the other people. The other people said worse things than I did, and I got the bulk of his anger. I don’t see why, maybe he has something against well-spoken people. *hunches* I still can’t believe that he had the nerve to go causingchaos’ journal to attack her. The jerk.

I spoke to Justin briefly last night (Friday, July 2, 2004). Our phone has been turned off due to us not paying the bill. The bill’s arrival was right after my mom and I got paid; so, we had to wait until we got paid again. It’ll be back on sometime next week though. Thank goodness! I miss being able to use the phone for simple things like checking the weather for the day, or calling my friends to say “Hello.”

I did a little shopping this morning with my paycheck. I finally bought the Evanesence CD, a CD/Radio Boombox, a portable CD player with anti-shock protection, since, the one I had been using didn’t have any, lotion, batteries, the Ever After DVD, and a few other things. Now, I am somewhat broke again until the next payday.

I am going to go see what is in my Inbox, and then wander around the Internet. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Danielle
