Just For Laughs

I just wanted to take time to mention a couple of things that I have found funny. The first is below and might piss some people off. If your are a hypersensitive sissy I suggest that you skip the first one and go on to the second one or just leave now and not read this entry. You have been warned!

The first time that I heard about Rent-A-Negro.Com on the radio, I laugh out loud. Hard. I did this because I realized the genius it was and grew jealous that I had not thought of it first. The site resulted from the owner ending up the only Black person at corporate functions, parties, country club events, and the like. I too have experienced the same. Whenever I watch a television show or go somewhere the first thing that I think is, “Where are all the Black people?” This may sound racist to you, but it’s not. I would simply like to see someone who looks like me for once. Sure, I have light skin which is the popular choice of “Black person” to show on television, but I look for the people with the cocoa and ebony skin tones. The tones that ring true to the Black race. Anyway, I am sure that anyone with a sense of humor would enjoy the site. The owner has said that she has received orders through her site requesting a Black person for a function.

The second thing that I feel is worth mentioning is this cartoon sent to me by my friend Peggy. Yes, the same Peggy that I posted the chat about spidey sex. *lol* She emailed me this comic earlier and I started laughing. I still have to thank her for this.

The story is coming along. I have written on Chapter Five today. I have most of the middle. I am trying to focus on Ewan and Eme now. *lol* I hope that I do well enough on their part.
