Cupcakes Make Life Sweet

[imood mood at time of entry: good]

I have gotten yet another good review on the story. My friend and admirer, Don skipped ahead to the sex fantasy part in the second chapter and was whooing and saying how he had to “think of orcs”. It’s a joke in reference to the story.

After reading the story, he was stunned and asked me where did I get that story. I told him that I wrote it. That nearly gave him a heart attack. *lol* He then asked me if I was a “freak”. I told him something along the lines of “No.” and “I don’t know yet due to lack of experience.” I told him that I was just fine not having loads of experience just yet. I want certain things to happen this year, but I am not in an extreme rush to get there. I can wait until I find the right guy.

More shocking, to me and I think to Don, was that he offered me his virginity and to be my boyfriend. I have long known that he has had a crush on me since last school year, but never before has he offered me his virginity. I had to politely reject him.

First off, I don’t really find him attractive and second, I don’t want that responsiblity. I don’t want to be the one that he will compare his future sex partners to or shapes his sexual evolution as a human being. I am sure that I could please him, but I don’t think that I should. It wouldn’t mean what it should to me. It should special since he is literally entering a new stage of his life. You know what I mean?

The weekend was pretty good except Grandma decided to drive me crazy Saturday (February 28, 2004) after I left the library. I wanted to scream at her so bad, but I couldn’t because she can’t help the way she is. She kept trying my patience, which isn’t much since I have a bit of a temper and am not renowned for possessing a long tolorance for irritating people. Of course she got a kick out of my being upset, but with my family, what else is new?

School has been OK today. I brougt in cupcakes for my teachers and counselor. I originally baked the cupcakes for my counselor to thank her for helping me last week. I ended up with so many cupcakes that I brought some in for the rest of my teachers. Only three people refused them. One was a diabetic, and told me to stop tempting him in a joking manner. Another had peach cobbler at lunch and something about the sugar had made her sick. The third gave no explaination whatsoever. Maybe he doesn’t trust student-baked goods. *hunches* Many were pleasantly surprised that I baked them myself. Everyone that ate one praised my skill. *smiles* The extras went to students.

So I am going to read some more of a story and surf around until it is time to go home.

I hope that everyone had a great day and weekend and continue to have a great week.

Lots of Love,

Danielle

  1. I find that if the sexual offer doesn’t come with both of you asking, then it’s probably best it doesn’t happen. I agree it’s a heavy responsibility to be the first time stamp on their parking meter. I fondly remember my first time and I wouldn’t change a thing and the best thing about it, neither would he.
