Porn is good. He says that it is wierd for us to watch it together. Bah to that!

Oh! I would always be willing to write about anything you (the people who read my journal) would like to see as an entry. If there is something that you feel compelled to know about me I will fill you in. No problem there.

I am still shocked about John Rtter’s death. He was so amazingly funny. I couldn’t believe. I found out the news a couple minutes after 5 AM Friday (September 12) morning.

Also, I voted for the very first time today. It was not bad at all. It was a Proposition ballot. There were 22 Propositions and 18 out of 22 got the OK from me.

I found the four I nixed to be either stupid or something else entirely.

These were the Propostions I felt were worth mentioning.

Legalizing building wineries in Texas.

*shakes head* Me and my mom were asking each other, “Don’t they already have wineries in Texas? I guess they are trying to make it legal now.” *insert our hunched shoulders here*

Propositions 8 & 18

Allowing a person to take office right away without voting if they are the only one on the ballot and best qualified for the job. (yea, qualified, right)

I picked this as silly because this Proposition was on the ballot twice as 8 and 18. The wording was not even changed. It was exactly the same. Plus, this is a waste of time since this already occurs for the most part. I do happen to know that my Mom did not vote for the only person on the ballot. I don’t know how many times she has done this as I only saw her once when I was younger. It was a woman and she said that she did not like that woman. I wanted her to vote for her because she was a woman, and it is important to have women in office.

Stupid Proprositions

Propositon 1

Use Vetern’s money and housing for non Veterns.

I was not in favor of this one because the Veterns don’t even get to use their money or housing. Why the hell should non Vets use it?!? I have met many a Vet, mostly Vietnam, on the street homeless and humgry as all get out because no one is willing to help Veterns. That is not right.

Proposition 9

The constitutional amendment relating to use of income and appreciation of the permanent school fund.

This one had to go because it makes no sense at all. It is not a complete Proposition. It does not say anything. It doesn’t tell anyone what it plans to do with the money.

Proposition 12

Limiting the lawsuit pay out against doctors, nurses or health care facilaties to $250,000.

Propoganda materials claimed this would keep the health care rates down and doctors in Texas. Yea, right. I was undecided about this Prop. until the night before the voting began. Then I saw Fake-o Gov. Rick Perry endorsing this Prop. and it sealed a big fat “No” from me. I hate that man!

Proposition 19

Reappeal the authority or rural firefighters.

This was just plain stupid because in earlier Prop. 10 the state was trying to OK the sending of extra equipment to rural firefighters. I couldn’t stop the WTFing on this one.

We use all electronic voting devices now. It takes a short amount of time to vote. We get a printed ticket with a number on it that we enter into the computer before we began. I kept the ticket and will put it in my scrapbook. I just wish that I had a camera to take pictures of everything. Darn!
