Stranded

(4:13 P.M. – 4:33 US Central Time)

OK, I am finally getting around to writing about being stranded Downtown.

Thursday I was planning to go and fill out the final paper work for Gary. I called up my last high school and the register was rude as always. That is what I have always hated about that school. Not a lot of people there are ever willing to help you and they blow up off completely.

She told me that she was too busy and to come Monday.

So I called Mark to let him know that I could not make it that day and what happened with the register. He said OK and that he understood and that I could come Monday.

I decided to go to the library and I would take Brandon along since I had round trip fare for the bus for one person. It became one way for two since the bus is one dollar for one direcion and two dollars for all directons. Mom agreed to pick us up after she visited our cousin in the Medical Center, which is not that far from Downtown.

We assumed that she would be picking us up around 6:30 pm. 6:30 came and went and we had to leave the library at 9 pm when it closed.

Usually, when we are left at the library until it closes Mom does not show up until 10:45 pm or later. So here we are thinking that is the case. We walked over to Tranquility Park like we always do. I wrote in my journal as usual while looking at the lit fountains. Brandon walked around on the hill there and we were just hanging out. We walked to get a Houston Press and were at the corner to cross the street. That’s when we saw Mom go by. We had just fucking missed our ride and the construction worker near us was laughing his ass off!

So we ended up walking around Downtown spending our time searching for a phone, calling home and relatives and walking back to the library. We ended up at the police station ten minutes til 12 am. We didn’t get picked up until after 1 am.

gah!

And to top it off Mom brought stupid Uncle Julius with her who would not shut up. I can honestly say that I hate this man. I always have. He smells funny and he is just a bastard to me. I have spent a lot of time thinking of ways that I would do away with him. Well him and Aunt Percious.

*hunches*
