Dixie Chick(ens) Bak! Bak!

(3:18 p.m. – 3:32 p.m. US Central Time)

I love the Dixie Chicks. They are from right here in Texas and their music is great. They are lovely role models for strength and what women can do together as a team. I, like everyone else in the world has heard Natalie’s remark about the president. Personally she should have stuck to her guns about it. I too have felt ashamed that the “man” that we call “president” is from Texas. I’m a black person who likes country music and I know that may be odd to some, but it isn’t to me. The white people in my city have gotten all upset over this stupid comment. They crazy over nothing. The country radio stations have banned the Chicks which isn’t necessary. Everyone is talking about tearing up their tickets and burning/destroying their Dixie Chicks CDs. Madness ove what?

He (Bush) gives Texas a bad name! I love being a Texan and it’s just ashame that we elected someone like him to run our country. I NEVER would have voted for him and I hope that he doesn’t run again.

He’s leading our entire country into a war that we shouldn’t begin. The real problems are not between the US and all the Muslim states, it’s between “President” Bush and the Muslim states’ government. I don’t see why they have to drag innocent civilians into it to fight their war. They should be the ones to get out there and shooting up and killing each other not us, the people who haven’t done anything wrong. The majority of people being shipped out are young people my age and some of them are not going come to home or be able to live their lives because it was cut short by a few idiotic politicans. But hey since when can you trust politicians?
