I am not having a bad week at all. I am having great success with my Lucius/Draco fic, I saw a Hiring sign in the window of a possible long-term job, I have gotten great feedback on my stories, my website is up and running (Now I just have to add in HTML code to make it spiffy), my Yahoo! Group is all set up to be promoted, and I ‘m just damned happy.

I know that wonderful feelings in my life don’t tend to last long, but I am going to enjoy it while I can. I am having a great time with my LiveJournal, which brings to light the Fate of this journal. This journal is the one that has links all over the Internet, and I have had this journal for over a year and a half. I can’t just abandon this journal because I found something shiny and new. I just love the fact that I can post my stories there, which was the major component lacking from this journal. The set up is more friendly to keep the entries short on the front page, but able to include all the information I want through a link. I wish that DearDiary had something like that.

I think the one thing that makes the other journal extra special is that I can talk to my penpal more often now. I adore her and it’s nice being closer to her when she lives in Australia. There’s a connection that is growing from being able to read her private thoughts in the moment they were felt, and her being able to do the same with me. *sighs* I’m so happy.

Oh! It turns out that we have so much more in common than I originally thought. It’s strange to see how our friendship has grown and changed over the past year and a half.

Anyway, I went in my HTMLGear account to change some things about my Guestbook that I have set up for reviews on my website, and saw that people are actually using the referral box on the Welcome page to tell their friends about my journal. Who knew? I also saw that people are Clixing me. I wanted to thank those individuals now, whoever they are. Thanks for supporting my little journal!

I suppose that I am going to go work on my writing now and look forward to cake. It’s my brother Todd’s birthday today. He made 23 today. Oh! It turns out that the tropical storm that bared my name was better than I expected. It turned into a powerful hurricane, gained some time on the news, and didn’t kill anyone. Score!
