Weather Shots

I have missed yet another day of school. Of course it wasn’t for the best of reasons, but I would like a few things to change before I go back to school after the four day holiday the HISD students received for Easter. I’m getting all kinds of days off for holidays I don’t celebrate and religions I don’t practice. Hrmm. . .

A severe storm front moved through Texas over the weekend and I had a pretty good time taking “weather shots”. I captured the dark clouds and the rain and the landscape. I also made sure to get some of the downed trees. What I really wanted was a clear view of lighting. That would have made my month. I’ve always wanted to take one of those. I think that I could see myself as one of those storm chaser photographers. Sure, its scary and dangerous, but the pictures would be worth. You know, until I got hit by lighting or something. Knock on wood. *knock knock*

I am trying to concentrate on getting breathtaking nature shots. I have a few options around the neighborhood where I live, but more likely, I am going to have to hop on the bus one day and snap my way around the city. I always use nature photographs on my website and the leading provider of beautiful pictures insists on putting their link on every picture they make available to the general public. Greedy bastards! *lol*

I haven’t worked anymore days on the set of the movie since the movie has yet to wrap. It should be wrapping in a couple of weeks though. I did see a short piece about the Texans’ coaches helping out with the technical part of the football rules. I was excited to see that the news station flickered a quick glimpse of the dummies I helped to inflate, dress, and place across the screen. Cool.

I am getting geared up to go on a serious hunt for a job. I just need to fix a couple of mistakes on my resume and I am ready to go.

I have quite a bit to do in the short amount of time that I am going to be here. I have about 45 minutes so I don’t know how I am going to get everything done in time. I have a paper due for Speech tomorrow, my resume mistakes to fix, a contest poem to type up, and whatever else is in my binder. At least I got my binder cleaned out over the holiday. Now I don’t have to worry about not being able to find anything. I also need to add the story headers to my Alan story that I started last summer. I am going to finish comverting it and then post it up on my webpage. I also need to send a copy to Tory as soon as I’m finished with it. Its going to be kind of hard working on a porn story with the nice librarian I always see buzzing around me. Imagine her face if she read over my shoulder the kind of smut that I’m writing. Guh.

So I need to go read some more emails and renew my banner link and maybe read a tiny bit of story.
