Picture Finds, A Few Owner’s Duties (:(>), and Entertainment Viewings

I’d love to use this drawing:

as my new background. Since it has reached the warmer months, I need a new bright, sunny background. Or at least something more cheerful than the background that I have been using for months now. It’s just too bad that DD automatically shrinks chops all personal graphics down to 150 x 150 sizing. Yuck. It’s only made worse by the fact that the image is repeated as a tile. It would not be so bad if the image was able to smoothly blend together like Miss Marie‘s current background.

of Mother Earth while looking for a picture to describe one of my ESWs, Lucy. I am still looking for a photo or drawing for her. Maybe I will find something soon.

I spoke to Justin Thursday (May 12, 2005) online. He IMed me out of the blue, and was very excited to see me. I had just gotten hom from work, so I was rundown.

If you do not know who Justin is, or do not remember, he was my short-term boyfriend from last Summer that I attended a semester of high school with. He was the one who had the “special” clause.

Justin’s invited me to come to his anime party being held this morning. I told him that I would swing by, but probably not at the early time that he is beginning his get together with his friends. I simply cannot make an 11 AM meeting anywhere on a Saturday. Especially if I am not getting paid to do so.

I am thinking of taking funnel cake mix as my snack to supply. I think that everyone will enjoy it.

I am working on icons and Friends Only banners for my LiveJournals and communities. I created a LiveJournal community where I can post about things that I find completely ridiculous. I have seen an unexpected shift in membership is my Yahoo! Group recently. I have been too busy with other things, and have let it go. There have been a few new members, and two people who joined and left quickly. I’m not certain what that was about.

I suppose that I should try to go get some sleep now, but I am about to go in search of this fantastic LOTR fan fiction story called, Feud. I have been reading on this story for months. I wonder if the author has finally finished it. She was up to 80 something chapters the last time I checked a while back.

I was pretty excited to see X-Men on television earlier. I am looking forward to Episode II airing on Fox as well on the 22nd of this month. That would be next Sunday for anyone who is interested in catching that.

I went to go see The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy with Amber, and I have to admit to moments of boredom. The visuals were outstanding, for the most part. I was not so impressed with the huge hole in the back of the ship.

Though I had a great appreciation for Marvin, and his usefulnes, I simply could not love his design. I don’t know. Maybe I should just shut up and find him cute like everyone else, but I just can’t. His head is so huge, and I am sorry to say this, but he has woman hips. Robots should not walk around with “woman hips.”

I really love travel shows, but Global Trekker is pretty nifty and original. It’s fun and youthful, yet still informative. I think that the younger traveling crowd could identify more with this show’s numerous hosts, rather than the one-man, older travel shows also being played on PBS. I like those “older shows” as well, but I watched GT about two hours ago. 😛
