Ouch! My Foot! (O->)

I managed to have a lifetime go on this week and get myself stranded at home for a few days. Meaning I have to write extremely long entries now.

Reader Note: Chris is this guy that I grew up with in my neighborhood. I have known him my entire life. His grandfather owns this store/washteria where my family used to go wash. He is 19.

Ok, I ended up going to the YMCA (on Tuesday) with David, but Chris came along. It started like this. I came to the library early in the day after I left the Plasma Donation Center. I did not donate that day because my Mom did not want to leave me in that neighborhood. So I stayed at the library for a few hours and then headed home. On the way home I walked past Chris’ house and he offered me a ride home. I said sure because I had not been to sleep since Monday afternoon. He decided to stick around instead of leaving after we got to my house, which isn’t far from his house. I knew that he wanted to say something but was holding back. I didn’t really care at that point because I was so tired. We talked for a bit and I told him my plans for the day. Eventually he left and I got to go to sleep.

After I woke up I called David and we decided to meet up at the library. On the way there Chris sped into the parking lot of his grandfather’s store which I happened to crossing at the time. I ended up waiting on David for a while. He finally showed up and checked his email. While I was waiting for him I saw Chris there. We all said hello and stood together for a couple of minutes. Then Chris walked out with us and offered us a ride down the street to the YMCA.

We accepted and rode down. David went off to get a Houston Press, which is this cool free paper here in Houston, obviously. Chris and I hung out by the door with me sitting on the steps while waiting for David to come back. He took his damn time too. Anyway, long story short, we did not sign up for the free week. I did not have the coupon from the Houston Press and David had had his week. So we went back outside and sat down on the steps.

David was suggesting all these crazy things to do like make bombs and sneak into movie theaters and walk hiking trails. It turns out that Chris hates David because he was evil to him back in middle which we all went to at the same time.

David asked for a ride home and Chris drove him home. Chris went to drop me off too but passed up my house. He started stuttering, which I think is sooo *cute* when a guy stutters. It’s sweet. He asked me if I had a boyfriend and if I was looking for one. I told him ‘no’ to both. He asked me out and I said ‘yes’. I then told him that I was going to go check the mail. I walked from the end of my driveway to the mail box. I turned around, stepped off my three inch high porch and stepped in the this big crack where the cement slabs meet and fell down. *lol* I twisted my ankle and foot and slammed to the ground on both of my knees. I tried to laugh it off, but I was in a lot of pain.

Turns out it’s bad sprain and I chipped some bone. I have defiantly tossed the crutches to the side in favor of walking on my hurt foot/ankle because the crutches don’t have the padding that keeps them from slipping from under my arms. I just got tired of falling off of them.

Anyway, there’s lots more and I don’t have time to type it now. My time is running out and Mom needs to leave. Maybe Tuesday.
