Long Overdue Update – Photos/Wives/Work

(3:58 A.M. – 4:25 A.M. US Central Time/Saturday/Home)

I’ll say it before you do. I am an absolutely horrid journal keeper. I know. I admit it. I truly am, but I don’t have the pressing need to come to DD as often as I once did. With two personal LJs, a community journal with my wives, a number of communities I can post to, and bit writing projects, I just don’t make it over here quite as often anymore.

I just love the easy flow of most of LJs pages in my journals there. If DD came up with a friends’ page where I could read all of my friends’ entries on one page, I’d stop by here more often. I do hate that LJ does not recognize different fonts via HTML coding. I can never use the fancy stuff there. *fumes/pouts like a child*

Let’s see. Today was 50’s Day at work. We wore the old time restaurant pointed paper hats! I was so excited and giddy to wear those hats. I have always wanted to wear one of my own after seeing so many pictures from the 50’s. I tried to get some extra hats for my friends, but that did not work out so well. *hugs friends* Maybe next time. I will have to post the pictures as soon I can.

(Note: The emergency room visit I am speaking of below happened nearly two weeks ago. My chest was hurting so badly that I was out of it. I was sensitive to light, I felt tired, and everything hurt. When I lied down, my breathing would slow to a stop. I just had to go in. The doctors found nothing, and still I have to pay. Thanks terrific American healthcare. Blah!)

Any pictures or luxuries shall have to wait until I pay off my bills. My first hospital bill from the emergency room visit showed up today, along with one of the two subscription bills. The first hospital bill is $150. I have no idea what the doctor’s fee bill will be. I really need insurance. *sighs* The subscriptions will be $30 all together. I expect to spend $350 to $400 on that one little visit that did not help to make me any better by the doctors’ doing.

Since I am utterly broke right now, I had pledged to go to work and strive even harder today to get lots of tips. It worked too! I ended up with more tips than I’ve ever gotten since I began working at my job. I would have paid my first subscription off completely, and then got started on the first hospital bill. That’s nearly gone now though. Someone walked off with over half of those tips I worked so hard to earn. Forgive me for being bitter and cynical, but people do suck sometimes.

Luckily for me, my wonderful wife, Kayem came through for me. I wrote this depressing entry where I did not want any comments, and she replied to the next entry I posted. (There were two posted close together. One was the depressed entry, and the other was a plug for a survey I found.) She left an Anonymous comment that directed me to another ljer’s journal. Turns out, she made this sweet comment about her wives there. *happy cry*

That is why I love having wives. They cheer me up when I need them most, and I do my best to do the same for them. Oh! We also got our first *official* friend of our community journal via my new friend, Lady Brannon.

What else? I am now trying to figure out how I am to go about suing this company that has cheated me out of my money. It’s a store that is run by non American-born citizens who act like they don’t know why you are upset/they don’t understand English very well when you try to get some service from them. I paid them good money, and they have not carried out their end of the deal. I want my freaking money back. Any tips would be helpful. A friend of mine told me that a Police report would help my case tremendously.

Last but not least, I wanted to include a link to my new photograph journal. It is not Friends’ Only, so feel free to have a gander. I think that I will catch up with everyone now.

Danielle

P.S. The picture is the link.

  1. Danielle…Hello! I’m back! Erase that NLU dearie, I couldn’t keep away. As for the money thing, when I figure out how to deny and save, then I will pass it along. Until then, consumerism does just that: consumes.

Oh and what the hell happened to Magic? Sigh.
