(5:09 P.M. – 5:30 P.M. US Central Time/Friday/Downtown library) [imood mood at time of entry: ok] It is as though I am stretched between being wholly content, and being increasingly nagged by worry at the uncertainity of college and job status. A couple of things have changed, and quite a few things have happened since…
(3:46 A.M. – 3:51 A.M. US Central Time) This is part of the conversation that Jade and I had. AOL just wouldn’t let me stay on and I had to keep restarting the computer and fighting with it and begging and whining and so forth. I just realized how crazy I really sound sometimes. lol…
(11:30 P.M. – 11:52 P.M. US Central Time/Saturday/Home) [imood mood at time of entry: good] Life’s kind of funny right now with everything that’s happened in the last week. One comment from Chaos has completely taken my fear of death away. Not that you comment was not appreciated, Aeolian. It’s just that I have always…
(3:08 P.M. – 3:28 P.M. US Central Time) Every time I begin to forget why I love people so much someone comes along to remind me. Yea!!! Prestina called me last night at 11:30 p.m. which is entirely too late for those I don’t like. (But it isn’t who those I do HINT HINT) She…
(4:00 P.M. – 4:27 P.M. US Central Time/Saturday/Downtown library) [imood mood at time of entry: peaceful] In this very moment, I feel a piece of serenity that has eluded me. I think that it hid due to my no longer getting out in the world and interacting with my fellow human beings. I had an…
I’m assuming you use dial-up? Switch to DSL.. Trust me.. Cable is nice, but most people don’t need that kind of bandwidth. I use DSL through my phone service provider, and it costs a little over twenty dollars a month. I do, on top of that, pay an extra fifteen to AOL to access their services. I love the chat rooms and message boards plus Wayne and I use it to RP. They offer a bring your own connection service.. After you have DSL, however, you don’t need AOL and can be rid of it.. There’s tons of free IM programs out there, and as long as you have internet explorer or the like internet surfing is exactly the same. I love my DSL.. Never, ever, EVER going back to dial up.
I have a local ISP right now via dial up. It’s pretty reliable and there’s nothign I need to put on my computer. Just set up the dial up and go. The wireless guy is for absolute sure coming tomorrow though so then tomorrow I’ll have wireless internet in my house. Sweet.
In canada I used both cable and DSL. I loved DSL a ton. I loved the speed and everything about it. If they had it here I would get it in two seconds again.
I haven’t heard anything good about AOL like ever. Everyone I know has had problems with it. Walmart offers a cheap dial up thing. like $10 a month for dial up.
