  1. I’m assuming you use dial-up? Switch to DSL.. Trust me.. Cable is nice, but most people don’t need that kind of bandwidth. I use DSL through my phone service provider, and it costs a little over twenty dollars a month. I do, on top of that, pay an extra fifteen to AOL to access their services. I love the chat rooms and message boards plus Wayne and I use it to RP. They offer a bring your own connection service.. After you have DSL, however, you don’t need AOL and can be rid of it.. There’s tons of free IM programs out there, and as long as you have internet explorer or the like internet surfing is exactly the same. I love my DSL.. Never, ever, EVER going back to dial up.

  2. I have a local ISP right now via dial up. It’s pretty reliable and there’s nothign I need to put on my computer. Just set up the dial up and go. The wireless guy is for absolute sure coming tomorrow though so then tomorrow I’ll have wireless internet in my house. Sweet.

In canada I used both cable and DSL. I loved DSL a ton. I loved the speed and everything about it. If they had it here I would get it in two seconds again.

I haven’t heard anything good about AOL like ever. Everyone I know has had problems with it. Walmart offers a cheap dial up thing. like $10 a month for dial up.
